DoomLord SunnO))) Model T Pre- Amp
Transistor based clone of the legendary Sunn Model T Pre-Amp.

- Now available with a BOOST after the passive EQ output stage.
Original or BOOST mode is switchable. Maximum Volume Yields Maximum Results.

The DoomLord features a switch to change between Normal and Bright channel, and another switch to bridge both of the channels together, instead of 5x input jacks like the original amp.

The main thing this pedal does is it adds TONS of luscious Sub Bass to your signal. Aside from the delightful sub-harmonic content it generates, it really excels at sculpting your mids too. Great for boosting or cutting, it wisely leaves the muddy frequencies alone and gives your signal warmth when you boost or aggression when you cut.

If you put a RAT or Muff (or your favourite distortion / boost / drive) in front of it - it will sound insane !! Sounds killer with a whammy or any other octave pedal too, Hell, even a clean boost will drive it into smooth creamy ecstasy. It cleans up remarkably well and produces a nice fuzzy, bluesy overdrive on it's own when you crank it up.

It's super useful as a pre-amp / EQ at lower gain settings to warm and colour the sound of your instrument. Here's a quote from a customer (the DoomLord) "makes my guitars speak with their true voice"

Great for guitar or bass, and handles down-tuned, high gain, doom laden, sludge beast guitars like a motherfuckin' bitchwolf !!!

Check out my listing for the DoomedLife too. They sound absolutely amazing together. Get a $50 discount when you buy both of them, if you use the code "DOOM THE WORLD" at the checkout.

True Bypass Wiring, Top Jacks, 9V DC Jack (boss style), 9V battery, Lifetime Warranty.

Incredible pedal

The phenomenal sub harmonics this generates is a true joy to play with. The flexibility and variation you can achieve is just wonderful.

It's a beast in a small box

The pedal arrived today (coincidentally my birthday, it was a gift to myself), and I had the opportunity to test it immediately, as a pre-amp, into the fx return of my Orange Terror Bass with a 1-12 & 1-15 speaker cab.
Man. This pedal does a great job as pre-amp. The Boost option gives a great volume kick (too bad it's a flickswitch and no extra footswitch, but, nitpicking...), but without boost, it serves as a great clean-to-medium-dirty pre-amp.
Although they're in the same ballpark, this pedal differs from the EAE Model feT, since you can switch channels and put them in parallel. I also tried the model T as a dirtpedal into the Model feT, which is brilliant, sounds like a monstrous overdriven wall of tube amps.
But, pairing the Model T with a Rat (or any Rodent based pedal, like the Rattler Bass), Alpha Omicron, HM-2 or fuzz will get you big walls of sound.
I only tried it with my main bass (drop A tuning) and a Bass VI so far. But this little pedal is worth it's money and the wait.

Hail Satan! Indeed!

This pedal is fucking awesome. Throw some dirt at it and with the simple tap of a toe, it will deliver a crushing, massive tone with a bark that will send the hounds of hell scattering and cowering in fear. Play loud and move some air!(Works great straight into a DAW with your favorite IR loaded, too.)

This devious little box adds burly muscle to your fuzzes and drives. I’m running it into a Model T-style amp, and the additional low end and boost… whoa.

Dirt goes into the Doom Lord. Doom Lord goes into the amp. Evil awaits.

Unleash the power

This preamp sounds massive, specially being fed with a good fuzz. The amount of controls available makes it very flexible to tweak the desired tone. And price is pretty affordable. I put it after my Dr.Scientist BitQuest, which has a tasty fuzz, and before a CabSim. The sound feels bold and alive. I'm a happier costarican bedroom experimental player now.
