Gehirn Enterprises is what my guitar pedal and modular synth DIY obsession has grown to. I registered the name ages ago when I left a boring job to go to an awesome job building underwater equipment and robots, and I needed an ABN. I chose the name Gehirn from the evangelion series to celebrate using my brain again (Gehirn means brain in German).

Now I build guitar pedals and totally awesome things in my tiny workshop under the house and sell them to cool and interesting people all over Australia. Hopefully with this website I can start selling them overseas too.

If I had to state a philosophy that Gehirn Enterprises abides by - it's that I build stuff I would like to buy, sell it at a price I would pay for it, and I build it as strong as I know how to. Everything I sell on here I use for my own music too.

Gehirn Enterprises is run by me, Brendan Pearce. I'm anti-social, grim and misanthropic, and also a satanic, doomlord, metalhead. I also love cheese, doggo's and Gardening Australia.

My good friend Kornel aka Zorius runs Alizon Devices in Hungary. We started modding DIY designs together and have partnered to share our pedal designs, collaborate on projects, check each others work and order PCB's in bulk. You will see many products on here that have both our logo's, and some with only Alizon Devices. Without support from Kornel I could not have grown Gehirn Enterprises to what it is today.

Gehirn Enterprises acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands where we work and live. We celebrate the diversity of Aboriginal peoples and their ongoing cultures and connections to the lands and waters of lutruwita.
